While I tend to be a traditionalist and would like to see World Showcase preserved somewhat, I don’t have a big problem with this as it’s just an extra event. I know a lot of people are upset about this, saying Epcot is being taken over by the characters, and it ruining the pure theme of World Showcase. Perhaps the new Frozen Ever After Dessert party could make its debut 2 days later that Sunday the 16th? We’ll have to wait and see. While we don’t yet have an exact starting date and Disney has not confirmed anything, if you go online to, you will find that the last scheduled Illuminations Sparkling Dessert Party is on July 14th, a Friday. The price is 99 for adults and 59 for children aged 3 to 9. The cost of the Frozen Ever After Dessert Party will be $79 per adult and $47 per child, and will take place on Sundays, Wednesdays and Fridays each week. Another way to buy yourself a good view of the Epcot fireworks is to book the Frozen Ever After Dessert Party. It will be located in the front of World Showcase, in the designated viewing area for Illuminations: Reflections of Earth. The Frozen Ever After Dessert Party will be replacing the Illuminations Sparkling Dessert Party, and will be similar to its predecessor. People enjoy that one too, it's just not for us. Since a reception is not included in the basic cost, consider a dinner at a romantic restaurant, an Illuminations dessert party, or perhaps tea at the Grand. The Illuminations Party has no seats for the entire thing but has alcohol. It has tables and chairs although you have to stand at the rail for the fireworks. This will be a chance for guests to enjoy a great viewing of the Epcot Illuminations Fireworks Show without fighting for a spot, and after once it’s done and the park is closed, they will be able to take a ride on the Frozen Ever After attraction without waiting in line. We really like the Wishes Dessert Party, just not sure about the new price (recently just went from 27 to 49 pp). Although not yet confirmed by Disney, it looks like they will be introducing a brand new Frozen Ever After Dessert Party to Epcot.
